We showed you the concept version of the Alpine A110 last February. In the 12 months that have passed between then and now, Renault hasn’t changed it much. And that’s a good thing.

The A110’s slinky silhouette remains untampered with and we now know a few more details about the French sports car. It will have a completely flat floor for aerodynamic stability and efficiency. It will also have lightweight seats with aggressive side-bolsters. Alpine will announce technical specifications at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, but we can expect some version of turbo-four under the hood, rated between 250 and 300 horsepower.

Other changes from concept to production include more conventional door handles, larger side mirrors and the rear brake calipers have changed position on the hub. The car is poised to compete directly with the Porsche 718 Cayman and Alfa Romeo 4C

We’ll bring you more on the Alpine A110 when the Geneva Motor Show kicks off in less than one week.
