Porsche’s newest member of the Panamera family is as fast as its name is long.
The Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid gets its power from the same 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 used in the Turbo, good for 542 horsepower and hooked up to Porsche’s eight-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission. But this time around, there’s a twist – that 4.0L twin-turbo V8 is mated to a 136-horsepower electric motor and a 14.1 kWh battery, giving it a green edge.

Of course, it just so happens that particular combination bumps total system output to 671 horsepower and 627 lb.-ft. of torque, lending to a zero-to-100 km/h run of 3.2 seconds before topping out at around 308 km/h.
Canadian pricing and availability haven’t been announced, but in the U.S., the Turbo S E-Hybrid will start at US$185,450 and, for the long-wheelbase Executive variant, $195,850. We’ll bring you more details when the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid officially debuts at the Geneva Motor Show next month.
