Just in case you thought the refreshed Sienna and Yaris were a little too staid, Toyota is taking to the New York Auto Show with something decidedly cooler.
Based on the teaser image, the FT-4X ought to satisfy fans of the dearly departed FJ Cruiser – and judging by the knobby tires, ride height and ground clearance, our best guess is that the FT-4X will set the tone for an off-road-ready SUV of some sort.
Otherwise, Toyota has remained very tight-lipped on the details. That being said, a properly capable FJ Cruiser successor will definitely steal some of the next-generation Jeep Wrangler’s thunder.
