Alfa Romeo is currently making excellent cars, but they feature a rather small line-up – the 4C sports car and the impressive Giulia sedan, followed by the Stelvio SUV due out soon.
One report from Motoring suggests the Italian automaker plans to debut a two-door version of the Guilua, called the Giulia Sprint, at the Geneva Motor Show next month. Exact details are still unknown, but we assume it will share similar mechanicals as the four-door Giulia sedan, including the suspension tuning and the 505-horsepower, twin-turbo V6 from the Giulia Quadrifoglio.
What we don’t know if if the wheelbase will be shortened for the coupe; it’s possible Alfa Romeo will have the Giulia Sprint’s wheelbase identical to the sedan, much like the BMW 3 and 4 Series.
The 2017 Geneva Motor Show kicks off on March 1.
